Cancellation and Transfers
Refund policy on Passes:
Before Nov 1 – 70% refund
Before Dec 1 – 50% refund
From Dec 2 – no refund
No refunds on Clothing orders or Walking Tour. No refunds on Group Passes.
You may transfer your Pass (including Group Pass). Full Pass may only be transferred from: Lead to Lead, Follow to Follow, or Follow to Lead (no Lead to Follow). You can use the Forum (HKSF Passes section) on this website to connect with other dancers about transfers.
If you have already agreed a pass transfer with someone, you must contact firstname.lastname@example.org with agreed transfer details, and receive a confirmation from HKSF. The person receiving the Pass should give their OWN name at registration.
Code of Conduct
HKSF is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, ability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form.
Please do not film during classes or publish/share class recaps without the teachers’ express permission. Teachers may, at their option, allow you to film a review at the end of classes. You MAY film competitions and performances as long as you do not obstruct others’ enjoyment of the event.
I grant HKSF and its photographers/videographers permission to:
Take photographs and video of me during HKSF (Jan 25-27, 2019) at the HKSF event venues; and
Use images and video bearing my likeness in any media without compensation for publicity purposes.
Schedule & Teachers
HKSF reserves the right to change the event or workshop schedules and teacher lineup in its complete discretion.
By submitting your registration, you confirm that you understand and agree that in participating in any dance class, workshop, rehearsal, or performance, there is a possibility of physical injury or death. You voluntarily agree, therefore, to assume all risks and responsibility for any such injury or accident, which might occur to you during any HKSF classes, workshops, events, or activities. You also exempt, release, and indemnify Hong Kong Swings, its organizers, volunteers, employees, guest artists, members, and/or students from any and all liability claims, demands, or causes of action whatsoever from any damage, loss, injury, or death to you or your property which may arise out of or in connection with participation in any classes or activities conducted by Hong Kong Swings. You also expressly acknowledge that injuries received may be compounded or increased by negligent rescue operations or procedures of the releases. You further hereby voluntarily agree to waive your rights and that of your heirs and assigns to hold Hong Kong Swings, its organizers, agents, volunteers, employees, guest artists, members, and/or students liable for such damage, loss, injury, or death. You understand that you should be aware of your physical limitations and agree not to exceed them.
